He was born in 1991 at Nangchen Chodrak, Qinghai Province. He has been a Tibetan Buddhist monk since the year 2000.
After completing his studies, he was awarded his Khenpo degree by the Abbot of Chodrak Khangnai Monastery, His Eminence Aten Phuntsok Rinpoche, on the 10th of March, 2017
Ven. Khenpo Tenzin has dedicated his entire life to study and practice Buddhism and, in service of the Dharma, to bring peace and harmony to people all over the world.
He holds all the relevant qualifications and training to perform the duties required by the Barom Kagyu lineage.
He has studied and practised Tibetan Buddhism for 17 years at Chodrak Khangnai Monastery and studied at the Larung Gar Buddhist Academy.
Larung Gar was founded in 1980 by His Holiness Kyabje Jigme Phuntsok.
Monks and nuns moved to Larung Gar to study and the international population from Tibet, China, Mongolia, and from other Asian countries was said at its peak to officially be more than 10,000.
The Barom Kagyu lineage originated in Tibet where Ven. Khenpo Tenzin Ling has completed the required monastic training, together with philosophical studies and ceremonial studies.
